The Yalgar River is a 142-kilometre-long tributary of the Murchison River, located in the Shire of Meekatharra in central Western Australia. It arises near the Great Northern Highway about 50 kilometres north of Meekatharra, flowing about 75 kilometres westward to a junction with its tributary, the Hope River. From there it flows north-north-westerly for about 35 kilometres, before disgorging itself into the upper reaches of the Murchison River near the Carnarvon Meekatharra Road.
